Happy Birthday Olivia!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY OLIVIA!!!

Yes Olivia is having her birthday today, September 26th, and she doesn't look a day older...than she did years ago!

In fact it's always been that way! Thanks in part, certainly, to healthy living.

She's fit and young-looking.
Therefore, take it advantage of it dear Livvy, and celebrate!!

I wish you all that you want, need and desire!
And am sure your fans all over feel the same.
Keep being the great lady you've always been.

With love,

OFan

Olivia is fascinated by UFO's, says British tabloid The Sun.

The Sun, a British tabloid, came out with an article stating that "GREASE star Olivia Newton-John has revealed that she is fascinated by unidentified flying objects - and has even seen a UFO."

I think she talked about that a long time ago, and several times since... the UFO that is. Now, according to The Sun, she reveals (for the first time?) that she is fascinated by the subject...

Olivia fans have figured that was probably the case a long time ago. We know she's opened to the possibility of unusual, unexplained phenomena, has had certain experiences herself with such phenomena and has a wide variety of interests, including the fields of spirituality and metaphysics. And emotional and physical health. Her mind is evidently not locked-up in a narrow, western, conventional rationalism. Her belief in and sense of connection to a higher power is another indication.

The Sun article confirms what many of us have suspected for a while.

But, are there really extra-terrestrials? Do you think it's bunk? Or that the idea that UFO's are secret technology that humans already have is also bunk?

Whatever these UFO's really are, there was one good case of UFO's in Belgium, in 1990. Even the Belgian military admitted they were baffled by what some of their pilots had captured on radar. The UFO's carried out manoevres that defied known technology and would have killed pilots due to the extraordinary G-forces involved in some of these (of course we can emit the hypothesis that the UFO's-if real - could have been unmanned..).

Check out this Youtube video:

There are many others -on the same case.

There might really be something to that UFO business... even if it amounts to finding the proverbial needle in a haystack...

Patrick McDermott Is...Back??

So he's hiding but supposedly has sent a little fax to pesky investigator Ralph Klein, asking him to leave him - Patrick - alone?

And we also "learn", if that is information we can believe, that Patrick never fled because of financial troubles, but because he had enough of the "tumult" around Olivia?

All of this has to be confirmed, but it's being reported in magazines like Women's Day. And of course everybody says it's true.

I'm not trying to judge anyone but this story is kind of twisted and filled with turns.
The media must be having fun with this and once again we have to wait before we conclude. Till the puzzle is complete.
Till the medias quit tantalizing us with possibilities, reports, hints and sources who say this and that and sometimes contradict previous utterings, statements...

Sure, he might be alive. Sure he might have fled. Not as sure he went through all that trouble just to get away from Olivia, but hey, what do I know?

For the moment my friends we have to feed ourselves off the tidbits, some of which might be bogus, the medias are giving us.

Here, have fun, enjoy a new wave of spun around, scant information, speculation and all of it concocted- it would seem - to keep us drooling with suspense, anticipation, expecting some exciting, original, dramatic conclusion to this saga.

I already have my own idea...

In the near future, we might hear that Patrick has returned, that some sort of deal has been reached, that justice won't be too harsh with him.
The justice guys will try to keep a low profile and Philllip Klein will brag about his investigative skills. Patrick will be the guy who made a mistake that we'll eventually-most of us- forgive.
And they'll all end up taking a beer together. Everyone will have gotten nearly everything they wanted.

Not terribly exciting, sure, but I don't want to count on the media to feed our frenzy.

And I don't risk being disappointed.

Bolt wants to be a legend? Sure. And super-rich too.

Yeah. I like the guy. I don't believe there are serious reasons to believe he's a cheat. And livening up the sport of sprinting is fun too. And there are excellent reasons to believe he's superior to other sprinters. His CV as a younger sprinter, among others.

He wants to be super-rich, like a Federer, and wants to be a legend. He has everything it takes to realize all of that.
Here's for the 'rich' part (they don't talk about it in the video), among others:

The triple Olympic gold medallist's management team are working on a marketing strategy to try to make him a global superstar with the kind of financial pulling power enjoyed by David Beckham and Tiger Woods.

(...)

Norman Peart, Bolt's manager and mentor since he was 15, is clear about the earning potential. "Commercially we see no reason why he can't be as successful as Roger Federer, Tiger Woods or David Beckham. He has not only been blessed with an outstanding athletic ability, but also a great character."

Good luck Mr. Bolt. Don't disappoint us.

Bolt Smashes A World Record Again: 150 meters race!

That man will run in the area of 9.3 - 9.4 someday, if he trains well. In Beijing he was worth 9.55 (approx) and in a few years, he could be much better.

Forget about drug use, that man is outstanding and has been from his younger days.

Even if someday he was found -unfortunately - to have used a substance, maybe for a temporary boost, he's still capable of performing (as well) without a substance. Trust me. Read up on him a bit. The guy is a talent.

Chocolate Almond Bundt Cake: Just What The Chef Ordered.

Ok Lent has been over for a long time- maybe you don't follow Lent but you haven't touched cooking appliance for a good while except to make the usual blah meal...

Mr OFan loves good meals and good food. And he suggests you try this delicious recipe: Chocolate Almond Bundt Cake. The name says it all except how delicious it really is.

Found this and thought a lot of you might like it...

What is a Bundt cake?

Bundt cake

A Bundt cake is simply the name used for a dessert cake baked in a Bundt pan or a round baking pan with a tube in the middle with fluted, decorated sides. They are typically made from butter/shortening or dense, rich cake recipes, such as the Butter or Pound cake. Bundt cakes are versatile and keep well. They need little embellishment and can be simply served with fruit or drizzled with a glaze or dusted with powdered sugar. Very few are frosted or filled.

So, is Patrick McDermott 'guilty'? And should we hound him until he's found?

Those of you who have followed this story... Patrick McDermott, Olivia Newton-John's ex-boyfriend, "disappeared" during a fishing trip in June 2005. Since he had financial problems, owed child suport payments and faced jail time over it, and that he and Olivia seemed to have split - they had an on and off relationship, over the years, from what we read - and that he was presumably depressed over this and his other problems, well it's been speculated that he faked his death. He had also left a life insurance policy worth $100,000 US for his son.
It was hard to prove he had died accidentally. It was also hard to prove he had faked it.

Ok.. so most everyone thinks he faked it.

Of course it's a likely hypothesis.

By the way the Coast Guard has stated that they think he likely drowned, and the insurance money has been payed, we're told.

And a private investigator who earns his cash finding missing people thinks he found him. Well, he believes he almost found him... he located him - he thinks- in Mexico, thinks he's been travelling by boat along the Mexican and South America coastline. And that he was probably in Cabo San Lucas, many times.
Worse, he may have found a "representative" of Patrick who could put him in contact with the mysterious man...

http://news.ninemsn.com.au/entertainment/800082/new-lead-in-hunt-for-newton-johns-ex

Ok, so while part of me says: well, Patrick's family would probably like to know what happened to him, there's also an investigator who may be motivated mostly by profit and scoring a big one - I don't know for sure, but that's the impression he's left me after following this entire story.

I'm of two minds about this: Find Patrick at all costs and make it public. Big hoopla.

Or leave him and let him and his family move on?

Let's just say I don't particularly like the insistence, the implaccability with which he's being chased.
Seems greedy more than anything else. Not motivated by "law and order and concern for the family" type of thing.

What do you think?
